Originally from Oshawa, Ontario, Scott Billings, currently resides in Toronto where he is pursuing a career in mechanical design and engineering.

Among those who know him well, Scott is reputed as a dedicated artist. His recent work in chalk and oil paint has helped him define a style that is uniquely his. Scott paints what he sees. While living in Vancouver recently, he
befriended several homeless street musicians who later became the subjects of his art.

This realist perspective, combined with a sharp eye, produced thought-provoking, insightful results. Scott's creative and charismatic personality is the essence of his artistic style. The captivating subjects in his paintings reflect an acute sensitivity and an unmistakable humanism.

Early in 2001, Scott will travel to Brisbane, Australia, where he hopes to continue finding inspiration in a wide variety of subjects.
